Ian Warman (Pop)
Rather than fill pages and pages written to cover and do justice to all his Qualifications, I have made a collage and tribute of Ian's certificates, awards and degrees achieved in his professional life dedicated to the Dental industry.
Starting a Dental technician apprenticeship in 1965 has seen his thirst for knowledge and growth in the industry achieve him awards and distinctions that have led to overseas education More Qualifications being a teacher and educator himself and of course the successful business man of Three businesses.
Ian's knowledge is immeasurable and absolutely the foundation and heart of Australian Mouthguards. I am blessed to have worked alongside of him and still find it hard to let him go far as besides his knowledge we just work well together and have fun.
Sue Warman (Nan and newly self-appointed PA to myself)
There has been and is one absolute front face of the business with the biggest heart that has made Australian Mouthguards thrive and that is Sue, for any one that has spoken to her knows that she has a heart of gold, loves to chat and most of all wants to help. Working alongside Ian as a practice Manager and business partner she has successfully organised managed and coordinated all three businesses. These days she gives herself the tittle of being my PA because booting me where I need it and keeping me in line is a job she loves, is good at and thankfully not ready to fully let go of.
After 15 years of hairdressing and moving back to the city I took up the position of working with My Parents as a Dental Lab assistant. I absolutely loved the career change it seemed to compliment the hands on creative need in me and working with my family suited me while having my daughter Lucy.
While not being technically trained I have felt extremely lucky to work alongside my step Father and the other qualified staff they employed over the years.
I have worked in the mouthguard material side of the laboratory since commencing employment in 1994. I also made mouthguards and attended clubs and clinics assisting in taking impressions.
I absolutely loved making mouthguards not only did it help me understand the importance of my work in making the material but also gave me an insight into the craft of making a well fitted guard. Maximum protection with the ability to provide comfort was definitely the part of the craft that I enjoyed the most. I loved the difference that my sculpting could make.
I have always been passionate about our material. So when my parents started talking about retiring and selling the business I asked if I could help in a few areas and ideas that I had, and felt the need to see out before they sold. They obliged and with renewed excitement from the support I offered we came to an agreement and have all supported each other in the transition of Michael and I Taking over the business.
I enjoy my work and I feel blessed to have family support, but also the support of our clients whom some have been with us since the beginning. My goal is to continue providing a friendly approachable business that my family has successfully built and with great pride I thank them and honour the amazing business that is Australian Mouthguards.

I am so excited to have my Dear Friend Faith start work with us.
We went to school together and thankfully for me she has always hunted me down as I moved around.
